Step 1: Fly fromToronto to Italy

There are no direct flights to Siena, so you’ll first fly into one of the nearby international airports. The two best options are:

Approx. Florence is a 1.5-hour drive to Siena/the venue.

Many major airports have direct flights to FLR (London, Lisbon, Barcelona, etc.)

DIRECT TO ROME (FCO)

Approx. 2.5–3 hour drive or train to Siena.

Airlines: Direct flights are offered from Toronto Pearson (YYZ) to Rome (FCO).

Step 2: Travel to Siena

By car: Rent a car at the airport and drive ~1.5 hours to Siena.

By train: Direct train from Florence to Siena

  • Route: Florence SMN → Siena (no transfer)

  • Time: ~1h 27m – 1h 30m

  • Note: Runs hourly

OPTION 1

ROME TO SIENA/VENUE

By car: Rent a car at the airport and drive ~2.5–3 hours.

By train: There’s no direct train from Rome to Siena, so you’ll need to change trains.

Best Route Options:

Via Florence

  • Route: Rome → Florence (high-speed AV train), then Florence → Siena (regional train)

  • Time: ~3h 20m

  • Note: Florence is north of Siena, so this adds time.

Via Chiusi

  • Route: Rome → Chiusi (regional or InterCity), then Chiusi → Siena (regional)

  • Time: ~2h 55m

  • Note: Shorter overall trip.
